Our client is a leading bottling company in the industry, renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation.As a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical maintenance of the bottling machines and other industrial equipment. Your expertise in both mechanical and electrical fields will enable you to perform routine inspections, diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure uninterrupted production.Key Responsibilities:Conducting regular inspections and maintenance on bottling machines and industrial equipmentDiagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults in a timely mannerCarrying out repairs and replacing faulty components as necessaryCompleting preventive maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimise machine performanceCollaborating with the production team to minimise downtime and maximise productivityAdhering to health and safety guidelines at all timesKeeping accurate maintenance records and documenting any changes or updates madeParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliabilityRequirements:Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Engineering Technician in a bottling or industrial settingStrong mechanical and electrical skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex faultsProficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manualsExcellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating proactive and flexible approachStrong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanshipEffective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levelsThe successful candidate will be offered a competitive annual salary between £44,000 and £48,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
