We are currently partnering with a Greater Manchester based Housing Association, who are recruiting for Three Multi-Trade Operatives to join their growing team on a temporary to permanent basis.

Our client is proud to provide affordable housing throughout Manchester, and are looking to expand their repairs service to offer further assistance to tenants.

This is a temporary to permanent position paying £21 per hour on a CIS basis, with a permanent salary of circa £33,000 per annum, plus a company van and fuel card. The start date is subject to notice.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Completing reactive joinery work within domestic Social Housing properties
  • Undertaking associated plumbing tasks, such as sink replacements in order to complete the joinery work
  • Carrying out minor plastering work, such as patch plastering
  • Liaising with tenants regarding ongoing works
  • Completing ad-hoc tiling when required

Experience required:

  • Experience required in Social Housing
  • Experience working with customers within housing

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • An NVQ in a relevant trade
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Working hours:

  • 38 hours per week
  • Working hours alternate on a week to week basis:
  • 8am - 4:15pm Monday - Friday with a day off during the week
  • Following week: 10:45am - 7pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 4:15pm Saturday
