Warehouse Operative - A role with real variety!
Shoalter Automation (UK) Ltd is looking for an energetic and organised Warehouse & Administration Assistant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and thrives in a busy warehouse environment. You'll be hands-on with inventory, a whizz with admin, and a key player in ensuring our operations run smoothly.
What you'll be doing:
- Inventory Control: Keeping our stock organised and accurately recorded is crucial. You'll be responsible for managing inventory, logging shipments, delivering to stores, and keeping everything in its place.
- Admin Support: You'll be a vital support to the warehouse team, handling essential admin tasks such as filing, data entry, processing paperwork, and managing mail.
- Shipping & Receiving: From preparing goods for dispatch to checking incoming deliveries, you'll play a key role in our shipping and receiving process.
- Safety First: You'll help maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment for everyone.
- Teamwork & Communication: Working closely with the warehouse team and other departments, you'll use your excellent communication skills to ensure efficient operations.
What you'll need:
- A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
- DBS Check (We will cover the cost)
- Experience in a warehouse environment is essential
- Confident using computers, including MS Office Suite and database software.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
