Page Personnel are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist on behalf of a fast growing technology business based in Salford Quays.

This role will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of the companies payroll and report in to the Payroll Team Leader.

Description

Duties will include:

  • Produce payrolls with accuracy and completeness, including gross-to-net calculations, financial postings, payslips, payment files, and auto-enrolment.
  • Ensure accurate and timely statutory reporting to HMRC for employer liabilities, including post tax year-end adjustments.
  • Process relevant data in support of internal policy/schemes.
  • Reconcile allocated payroll balance sheet accounts.
  • Independently check all data changes using SAP standard Audit trail.
  • Provide support and advice to the business on all payroll-related matters.
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of the organisational payroll system and employee data.
  • Inform the Payroll Manager of any deviations from agreed processes and policies.
  • Support the Payroll team by contributing to BAU administration.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Be qualified or studying CIPP - desirable, not essential.
  • Have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Have knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Be an excellent written and verbal communicator.
