Milk Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Mentor to join our partner primary school in Bury. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the pastoral care team in promoting positive behaviour throughout the school.
  • Assist class teachers and support staff in providing targeted help to key children within the classroom environment.
  • Conduct one-on-one and small group sessions aimed at improving self-esteem, managing anger, and developing social skills.
  • Create and deliver personalised sessions designed to address specific learning goals for children with varied needs.
  • Work with the Pastoral Care Manager to address issues related to attendance, family matters, and other areas of concern.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a comparable role within an educational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of behaviour management techniques and safeguarding procedures.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proven team player with the ability to work effectively alongside others.
  • A strong dedication to supporting the welfare and inclusion of all pupils.
