Opportunity: Immediate Project/Change Manager
Location: Manchester with good links to the motorways so ideal for candidates travelling from Bolton, Warrington, Central Manchester, Merseyside and Preston

Working Pattern: Office based 2/3 days per week with flexibility to home work on a fully flexible basis
Hours: Full Time  - 35 - 37.5 hours per week with flexibility 
Duration: FTC/Temporary - 6 - 9 months 
Salary: £75,000 - £80000/£42 - £45 per hour

Working in partnership with a leading Greater Manchester organisation we are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for the management and coordination of a department which is winding down due to funding.

This is a fixed term appointment and ideally we will be looking for an experienced 'hands on' operational project manager who has managed the closure of projects from start to finish according to tight time frames and budgets

The successful candidate will proactively engage and drive collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders such as clients, senior leaders within the organisation, external delivery partners and national Public Sector organisations

Ideally the candidate will have a background in Archaeology to a Degree or Masters level and will have either formal Project Manager qualifications or demonstrable experience in a similar project manager based role, ideally in an Education or Public Sector based environment

In addition you will:

  • Have full PORTW in the UK
  • Be available immediately/January 2025
  • Be able to commit to a 6 - 9 month project
  • Have exceptional customer service skills as there is a requirement to communicate across a wide group of customers, colleagues and stakeholders.
