About the Role:

We are seeking an eager individual to manage a range of major infrastructure projects ensuring safe delivery, on time and within budget, whilst meeting all legislative requirements. The candidate will provide and ensure project document creation, stakeholder engagement and project co-ordination across all our district heating linked projects. The work programme will be based out of our Depot in Salford. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will coordinate and manage documentation to deliver high quality infrastructure projects.

About you:

The successful candidate will have a good general understanding of the industry and be willing to learn and tackle new challenges daily. 

Roles and responsibilities

  • Manage & Update all Programmes for live contracts
  • Create & Update SLD’s for all Future & Live Projects
  • Produce project documentation- RAMS, team packs etc
  • Update the Defects Log & arrange for remedial work with the Reinstatement Manager
  • Provide administrative and data management support to the Operational Support Team
  • Applying for permits in good time to ensure delivery of the work programme
  • Start & Close jobs accurately to avoid potential fines
  • Apply for permits through client
  • Ensure the safe systems of work are implemented and that all necessary documentation is in place, complying with the CDM Regulations ensuring compliance with current legislation and specifications concerning operating practices
  • Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure all safety documentation is presented and they report to site when required.
  • To attend pre-start and site meetings as required by Clients and the Business
  • Attend Site Meetings for current & future jobs

Qualifications

  • CPCS and CSCS Cards
  • SMSTS
  • Deep Excavation / Temporary works Coordinator
  • Emergency First Aid

Travel and Flexibility

You will be based out of our Salford Depot with regular travel to site. You will be required to travel to alternative sites to meet the needs of the business and therefore must have a full driving licence.
