A Secondary school in Worsley, Salford is seeking a dedicated and passionateBehaviour Mentor / Sports Assistantto join their team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30pm.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor / Sports Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting primary aged students with a wide range of complex needs. You will:
- Inspire through Sport:Lead engaging sports sessions and activities, fostering physical fitness and teamwork.
- Guide and Support:Work closely with students, providing guidance and support to manage challenging behaviours and improve mental health.
- Enhance Learning:Assist in PE lessons across all age groups, promoting physical education and healthy lifestyles.
- Empower Students:Offer classroom support in various subjects, helping students reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For:
- Sports Enthusiast:Experience leading or assisting with sports sessions.
- Passion for Mental Health:A keen interest in supporting young people's mental well-being.
- Behaviour Management Skills:Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours and special educational needs.
- PE Expertise:Confidence in assisting with PE lessons across different age groups.
- Immediate Availability:Ready to start immediately on a full-time, long-term basis.
