Are you an experienced Process Operator looking for a rewarding contract role in the water industry? We are seeking a skilled professional to join a wastewater treatment facility in the North West of England.
Previous experience is essential for this role.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant equipment and machinery.
- Adjust chemical dosing, flow rates, and other operational parameters to optimize plant performance.
- Record and report operational data, including flow rates, pressure, and chemical levels.
- Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective plant operations.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Process Operator within the water or wastewater industry.
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and associated equipment.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in water treatment or process operations are advantageous.
Contract Details:
- Rate: Competitive, commensurate with experience.
- Location: North West England (site-based).
- Contract Type: Outside IR35.
- Duration: Contract until April 2025, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs.
