  • Work closely with the photography & marketing team, managing the product creation process. Ensure all data and information is available and accessible through the content brief to create market leading product listings.
  • Carrying out in-store and online competitor analysis to consistently keep up to date with new trends, colours and fabrics. Creating mood & trend boards where needed to support.

Client Details

A great opportunity for an Junior Buyer to join a growing Ecommerce Retailer in the Worsley area. They sell a variety of trend led product for the home and apparel. From Bedding to throws, cushions to loungewear. Due to strong trading figures and company investment they are seeking to add an Junior Buyer to their buying team.

Description

  • Develop an in depth understanding of product to support with the product development process.
  • Ownership of data and administrative tasks. Ensure range plans and systems pricing are always up to date. Support with system SKU creation.
  • Assisting with the managing the sample process - lab dips/strike offs, red seals and gold seals - labelling and filing.
  • Aiding in the management of the critical path, ensuring team deadlines are met and that the team are up to date with any challenges that may impact delivery dates.
  • Work closely with the photography & marketing team, managing the product creation process. Ensure all data and information is available and accessible through the content brief to create market leading product listings.
  • Carrying out in-store and online competitor analysis to consistently keep up to date with new trends, colours and fabrics. Creating mood & trend boards where needed to support.
  • Checking and creating product packaging & specification packs.
  • Help to maintain the Showroom, Gold Seal room and office space keeping them organised and current.

Profile

  • Understanding of the retail industry and current market trends.
  • Experience in a buying role, ideally within the product development buying working
  • An eye for design and a passion for trends and homeware
  • Experience of working with suppliers, overseas factories etc
  • Excellent Communication skills
