The Role

We have an exciting 6 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Recruitment/Onboarding Compliance Coordinator to join our Screening team, working closely with our clients, their candidates and the Morson team members. In this role you would be responsible for managing and processing pre-employment screening cases to ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and internal processes. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and external vendors to ensure the timely completion of background checks and other screening activities.

Main duties include

  • Provide first class vetting services to our clients and candidates.
  • Prioritise and track candidate / employee cases to ensure timely processing, meeting both client and regulatory deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, candidates, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
  • Making outbound calls to candidates and third parties at key points during the vetting process to aid with completion of candidate background checks.
  • Respond to enquiries via email and phone providing clear, concise information regarding the status of cases, required documentation, and any issues encountered.
  • Work with the client when necessary, including but not limited to ensuring that adverse information highlighted through the screening process is escalated appropriately.
  • Work as part of the team.
  • Work across different vetting systems as required
  • Plan, manage and monitor vetting activities, managing competing demands and priorities.
  • Provide accurate information to stakeholders both verbally and written.
  • Ensure you are working within agreed client service level agreements.
  • Where needed record relevant exceptions where service level agreements are not going to be achievable.
  • Ensure relevant information and communications with candidates and clients are recorded clearly in candidate case files to ensure all activity is auditable.
  • As required, participate in client meetings in conjunction with account managers

What we're looking for

  • Previous vetting experience is desirable
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience with Excel (proficient)
  • Excellent administration skills
  • Data entry skills are essential
  • An ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills across MS applications, in particular Excel
  • Good organisational skills and ability to balance conflicting priorities
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Adaptive to changing requirements
