Purchase Ledger Assistant

Location: Salford

Salary: circa £28,000- £30,000

My client is a well-established, high-growth business in an exciting sector, with continued growth plans. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase ledger Assistant to join the team, reporting to the Head of Finance. The ideal candidate will have full end to end purchase ledger experience and knowledge of processing employee expenses.

Duties include:

  • Purchase ledger for various companies within the Group as required
  • Monthly and Mid-month payment runs
  • Assist with sales ledger invoices for specified companies within the Group
  • Payment on Account reconciliations
  • Employee expenses
  • Intercompany recharge invoices throughout the Group
  • Support with some credit control duties
  • Provide assistance to management accounts as required

Skills & attributes:

  • Have the ability to use own initiative
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Sound knowledge of IT systems and accounting packages
  • Good attention to detail and record keeper
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Flexible and professional approach to work
  • Honest and reliable
