Design and Technology Teacher Salford We are specifically working with a Good secondary school in Salford, who are working exclusively with ourselves, to join them teaching Design and Technology to key stage 3 & 4 classes. The role will be from January and will continue for the remainder of the current academic year on a full time basis. You will be required to become fully immersed in the department, attend departmental meetings and be available for parents evenings as and when required. As well as deliver lessons that are both engaging and academically appropriate to stretch the students in the classes. This is a faith secondary all boys school which teaches a wide range of subject to their students to make sure they gain a fulfilling timetable. The students are keen to concentrate and work hard in their lesson, as they settle down to work quickly. The students movement around the school quickly and orderly around the school, resulting in a calm environment which is ideal for learning. The role will be open to newly qualified teachers (ECT) as well as teachers who have more experience, we pay from M1 to M6 (sometimes we can also pay through threshold if you have done so, depending on the role). PGCE and QTS in Design and Technology. A focus on resistance material and graphic design. Previous experience working of working with young people (which we can reference). Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided). Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided). Up to date behaviour management & FGM training in the last year (essential, however, training can be provided). TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to process a new application.
