English Teacher – Full Time – Mainstream Secondary School, Salford

Cover People UK are recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in Salford. This full-time role is to start as soon as possible.

Key Details:

• Role: QTS English Teacher
• Location: Salford
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Full time (Monday to Friday)
• Contract: Long term 

Responsibilities:

• Teach English across KS3 to KS5, including A-Level students
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies and foster a positive learning environment
• Act as a positive role model, particularly for male students who require additional support

Requirements:

• Proven experience teaching English up to A-Level in a UK secondary school
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills

The school has been rated GOOD with OUTSTANDING features by Ofsted and offers a supportive and welcoming environment. It is easily accessible by public transport and has on-site parking for drivers.
