Key Responsibilities of a Science Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan, prepare, and assess student's work, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their potential
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated
- Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant, engaging, and aligned with national standards
- Take part in wider school activities, such as parent evenings and school events
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialism in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics)
- Proven experience teaching Science at secondary school level (ECT's are welcome to apply)
- A passion for Science and the ability to engage students of all abilities
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of students
- A commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to a collaborative teaching environment
