We are looking for an Conveyor Systems Operative to join our team in Salford.The successful candidate will need to have an ONC level qualification (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, or have relevant work experience within a skilled manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Carry out assembly of products in line with standard operating procedures and relevant standards.
  • Carry out electrical wiring and testing of conveyorized systems.
  • Use initiative and departmental collaboration to diagnose and overcome production faults.
  • Use of power tools and basic hand tools.
  • Work in line with the factory's Health & Safety policies.
  • Willingness to assist and participate in projects to continuously improve processes and products.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum ONC level in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or relevant work experience within a skilled manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of electrical drawings and general assembly drawings.
  • Computer literate.
  • SAP Knowledge.
  • CAD / Team Center knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
