Senior Carrier Representative
£40,000 per annum + 20% bonus
Salford Quays - 4 days office, 1 day WFH
We're currently recruiting for a Senior Carrier Representative to join our global logistics client in central Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to spearhead the growth of a new division within the UK offices, with huge scope for ongoing development.
This is a really exciting time to join a global business who are looking to expand their UK presence into 2025. You'll be working on site in the offices in Salford Quays so successful candidates must be in commutable distance.
Duties of the Senior Carrier Representative -
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, strategically secure capacity
- Match capacity to shipments to meet customer expectations
- Build a healthy portfolio of suppliers by sourcing and negotiating market rates
- Support in the growth of the UK Domestic Market department
- Bring new ideas for ongoing development and automation
Experience required for the Senior Carrier Representative -
- Previous experience of working in the UK Domestic Market
- Knowledge of managed carriers and automation tools
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Self motivated individual who thrives in flexible working environments
- Excellent communication skills
