Sennen Education are working with an excellent SEN School in Salford.This setting is seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant who has experience working with children or young adults.
The role will entail working with a range of students with complex needs aged from 5 - 18 on both a one-to-one and small group work basis, inside and outside of the classroom.
The ideal Learning Support Assistant should:
- Have good time management and know how to multitask
- Be flexible and patient
- Be able to communicate effectively within a team
- Undertake duties as directed by teaching staff or head of rooms.
To join us and be successful in thisLearning Support Assistant role, you will need:
- A minimum of six weeks experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
- Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
