The postholder will carry a significantly reduced CPA caseload resulting in capacity to provide professional and line management supervision, consultation with respect to complex casework and to support the continuing professional development of social workers.The postholder will provide leadership with respect to adult and child safeguarding. A main responsibility will be to provide oversight of s.42 enquiries and chair planning and outcomes meetings, working with adults at risk and partner agencies to address safeguarding concerns while adhering to the principles of making safeguarding personal.If qualified as an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), the postholder will act as an AMHP on a rota basis and if suitably experienced will contribute to the AMHP Manager rota.
