Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support families during complex and sensitive times.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple agencies to mitigate risks and safeguard children.
  • Manage a mixed caseload, including children in need and child protection cases.
  • Handle court work, supported by your Practice Development Manager and Team Manager.

To be considered for the Social Worker role:

  • 1-3 years' experience of working within a similar social work setting
  • Be able to manage full and complex caseloads
  • Be child focused and able to implement relationship-based and systemic-based practise
  • Have a good knowledge of the issues and risks faced by children in care and the procedures to manage these
  • Work well individually and within a team
