Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Salford Council's Duty and Assessment Team. This is a full time role, with a fantastic pay rate of £35 - £39 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with children and their parents.
  • Will be reliable and provide stability and ambition for children and their families during the time they are working with us.
  • Ensure Assessments are completed in a timely way for children and families who should be getting the rights services at the right time.
  • Completion of Child & Family Assessments, coordinating of Child In Need Planning, Strategy Meeting/S 47
  • Enquiries to progress to Initial Child Protection Conference.
  • Strong reflection and analytical skills and ability to assess and manage risk required.
  • Court experience - around initiation of proceedings/ EPO applications etc desirable.
  • Knowledge of Signs of Safety and Safe & Together desirable.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registered
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent
  • Enhanced DBS
