About the Role:
We're seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Children's Integrated Services (CIN) team in Salford, Manchester. This role offers a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans to safeguard children and promote their well-being.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including health, education, and police, to ensure a coordinated approach.
- Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings as required.
- Provide guidance and support to families and carers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work
- Registration with Social Work England
- Experience working with children and families
- Knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience working in a CIN team
- Knowledge of the local area
- Experience working with diverse communities
