What you will do:

  • Provide leadership, management, and support to adult social care staff, ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Deliver a statutory social work service tailored to the most vulnerable adults and their carers.
  • Chair section 42 enquiries promoting Making Safeguarding Personal with a focus on desired outcomes.
  • Lead complex safeguarding enquiries, managing risk with excellent communication and documentation.
  • Embrace and promote a strengths-based approach for meeting the needs of individuals through community-led initiatives.
  • Support and guide team development and manage responsibilities in the absence of the Team Manager.
  • Provide supervision, coaching, and mentoring, fostering a culture of learning and reflection.
  • Play an active role in the development and integrated working within Adult Social Care, keeping practices effective and current.
