Role Overview:We're recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant with BSL certification to support two pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a Salford-based school. This role involves working closely with the class teacher to help bridge learning gaps for pupils working below Age-Related Expectations.
Requirements:
- BSL training (Level 1-3) and relevant experience
- Proven experience with SEN pupils
- Able to provide supporting references
Role Details:
- Location: Salford
- Start Date: ASAP (Contact Tamara at )
- Shift: Mornings only, long-term position
- Pay: £66 - £80 per day (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the class teacher to support academic growth for two pupils with a Hearing Impairment
- Provide individualised support for students to facilitate comprehension and learning
- Assist in preparing resources and organising lesson materials
- Establish trust-based, positive relationships with students
- Collaborate with staff across key stages to share resources and best practices
Essential Requirements:
- Strong references highlighting KS1/KS2 experience
- Full employment history and legal right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS check and suitable references
