You will be working for a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in Salisbury that is looking for a qualified accountant to join their audit team. They provide a high quality, partner-led service to a diverse range of clients, including companies, partnerships and limited liability partnerships, small businesses and self-employed, private clients and trusts, charities, friendly societies and housing associations. Their specialist teams have the in-depth knowledge to look after the specific needs of solicitors, doctors, charities, farms and estates.As an Audit and Accounts Senior, you will be working with the partners and managers in the delivery of statutory audit and accounts preparation services, and to manage and allocate work to audit trainees. It is likely that the role will involve the planning and delivery of audit/accounts assignments; supervising junior staff during the audit and reviewing their work; delivering the audit file to the assignment manager in timely manner; effectively managing client communication; coaching other staff for improved performance and technical development, and mentoring audit and accounts trainees.

Ideally, you will be a qualified accountant, ACA or ACCA with experience of private company and /or charity audits including planning, budget preparation, identifying key risks, developing an audit plan and executing the audit on site.
