You'll be based in the office four days a week, with the option to work from home one day.Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing cashflow forecasting, highlighting any potential risks to the business
  • Reviewing and posting the monthly payroll
  • Carrying out group intercompany balance sheet and cost centre reconciliations
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns
  • Getting involved in the ERP project focused on assets and overheads
  • Supporting the Head of Finance in overseeing the Accounts Payable and Credit Control teams
What you will need:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Financial Accountant / Accountant / Finance Manager / Technical Accountant
  • At least 2 years in a Financial Accounting role, ideally with experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation and a willingness to take initiative
  • Exposure to working in a small, multifunctional finance team
