Sheridan Maine is exclusively partnering with a successful business to recruit an Accounts Assistant (Accounts Receivable).  If you're an experienced finance professional with a background in Accounts Receivable / Credit Control, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of your role while working within a supportive and established finance team.Key responsibilities:
  • Managing cashbook, cash posting and bank reconciliations
  • Handling customer queries and supporting credit control
  • Processing client invoices and payments.
  • Working closely with the accounting team to resolve any issues.
  • Reviewing Credit Limits and maintaining aged debt through regular follow-ups
  • Sending statements, copy invoices and credit notes as needed
  • Ensuring debtor days are within agreed levels.
  • Maintaining Credit control inbox.
  • Supporting the purchase ledger team when required
What we’re looking for:
  • Proven work experience as a Finance / Accounts Assistant, Accounts Receivable experience or similar role
  • Experience with using an ERP system with be beneficial
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong communication & organisational skills
  • Proactive approach and a keen eye for detail
