Sonic Summary
- We are recruiting for a Carpenter to work with a well-established contractor in the social housing sector across Wiltshire, Dorset, and Somerset.
- This position is on a temp to perm basis, starting at £22 per hour for the initial 20 weeks, with a potential salary of up to £38k when permanent.
- The Carpenter will be responsible for voids and repairs, including work on FRA, remedial fire doors, and fire stopping works.
- Candidates must have social housing experience, a carpentry qualification or over 5 years of experience, and experience in fire door fitting.
- A full driving license (with no more than 6 points) and own tools are required for this role.
As a Carpenter, you'll receive:
£22 per hr (Temp to perm, 20 weeks)
Company van and fuel
Salary up to 38k when permanent
As a Carpenter, you'll be:
Working on voids and repairs properties
Working on FRA Works, remedial fire doors, remedial replacement door-sets and fire stopping works
Working for a social housing contractor
As a Carpenter, you'll need:
Social housing experience
To have a qualification in carpentry or more than 5 years' experience
Have experience in fire door fitting and fire stopping works
Full licence (no more than 6 points)
Own tools
