Commercial Asset ManagerPermanent Opportunity via BRC Jobs:                Commercial Asset Manager Location:        South West & South East (Remote Working)  Sector:            Property and Housing Job Type:        Permanent Salary:             £55,000 Rising to £58,000 – Company car included   Are you looking to secure a permanent position where you can make a big difference for care homes? We are looking for an experienced asset manager to join a large housing association to commission and deliver investment programmes across a geographical patch.  Main Responsibilities:  
  1. In this role you will be delivering investment and cyclical programmes to care homes within agreed budgets through effective financial management to achieve timely completion of projects
  2. Responsible for 5 direct reports, you will be the point of contact for staff maintaining and repairing properties, overseeing their work and providing advice and guidance where required
  3. Ensure routine stock condition surveys and inspections are undertaken in timeframes and complaints or legal notices are investigated
  4. You will be responsible for overseeing a budget for repairs to properties
  5. Working with wider teams, you will support on all property related matters including repairs, maintenance and compliance to care homes
  6. Manage the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, identifying any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
  7. Encourage client involvement and feedback to ensure capital and revenue projects are accessible and responsive to customers’ needs
  8. Ensure quality data regarding commercial property assets is robust and well maintained in order that it provides meaningful data when undertaking strategic property portfolio reviews and to inform investment programmes
  Job Requirements
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • Building related degree/relevant professional qualification
  • Qualified to RICS Associate status or similar (Desirable)
  • Recent experience in undertaking a similar role
  • Robust knowledge of building regulations, legislation and current practice
  • Excellent organisational, project management and planning skills
