Are you a CNC Machinist with Setting and Operating experience, seeking a full-time, permanent days-based role, where you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skillset and gain new engineering skills whilst working on bespoke projects, and have the chance to advance your career to more senior positions?

On offer is a varied role with an interesting workload, with a number of exciting projects on the horizon. Due to the nature of the work, there will be rare opportunities to receive training in CNC programming, design, EDM and other aspects of manufacturing engineering.

They are carving out a niche within their sector as an innovative and agile service and product provider, with a number of classified defence and security projects ongoing, as well as extensive accreditations and awards to signify their specialist expertise.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a CNC Setter/Operator to advance their career and gain new skills. Whilst the day to day duties of this job will vary, you will generally be responsible for setting and operating HAAS machine tools for the fulfilment of bespoke small-batch projects, alongside programming and other engineering duties once trained.

This role would suit a CNC Machinist with experience of HAAS machinery, seeking an exciting role with a growing company who pride themselves on the way they treat their staff. The Role:

  • CNC Machining - Setting, Operating, Programming (Programming Training can be provided)
  • Standard working week, 40 hours, Monday to Friday. Flexible working hours, generally 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
  • Highly varied position, with opportunities to innovate on new projects


The Candidate:

  • Will have experience with HAAS machinery
  • Will require own transport
  • Must be a UK national for security clearance, due to the nature of the industry
