Job Title: Electrician / Approved Electrician

Wessex Electricals is a family-run business based in North Dorset with over 60 years of experience in the Electrical and Property Care industry. Due to continual growth, we are looking for additional qualified electricians to join our expanding team, undertaking all aspects of electrical work in both domestic and commercial premises.
Role Overview:
The Electrician/Approved Electrician will carry out electrical works, including but not limited to, electrical testing and inspections, consumer unit replacements, rewiring, heating system upgrades, and reactive maintenance. The role involves working independently or as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient completion of electrical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical testing and inspections in domestic and commercial properties.
- Upgrading heating systems and conducting consumer unit replacements.
- Rewiring of domestic premises, kitchen, and bathroom upgrades.
- Reactive maintenance and fault-finding.
- Submitting detailed reports and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent).
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Valid driving licence.
Desirable Qualifications:
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition).
- Experience with mobile working devices (PDA, smartphones).
