Pump Service Engineer opportunity available with our client, a family run Hampshire-based engineering company with over 20 years' experience in the sewage treatment experience. This role will involve working within the company's service department across the South of England, and comes with a negotiable salary between £35k to £40k, daily 4pm finishes, no on call work, and yearly bonus'.

Our client has been operating within the sewage treatment industry for over 20 years and specialises within the installation and maintenance of sewage treatment systems and septic tanks from manufacturers such as Kingspan Klargester, Biodisc, Marsh, and Premier Tech, across the South of England including Hampshire, Wiltshire, Surrey, Sussex, and Kent.

Pump Service Engineer Job Requirements

  • Travelling across the South of England (mainly Hampshire and Wiltshire), visiting commercial and residential properties and completing jobs assigned from a PDA system
  • Regular servicing and maintenance on sewage treatment plants
  • Installations of septic tanks
  • Minor electrical work on control panels
  • Filling in all relevant paperwork after works has been completed

Pump Service Engineer Job Requirements

  • Strong background within the wastewater engineering industry, with experience completing works on sewage treatment plants and septic tanks
  • Electrically competent (Electrical qualification desirable but not essential)
  • Physically fit in order to complete tasks
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS, British Water accreditation, and CPCS tickets desirable
  • Based within a commutable distance of Southampton

Pump Service Engineer Salary & Benefits

  • Salary £35,000 - £40,000, negotiable depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
  • No on call or weekend work mandatory, but occasional works can be offered if desired
  • Overtime starting from 1.5x
  • Yearly bonus'
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
