The RSCM (Royal School of Church Music) is looking for a Personal Assistant to support the Director (CEO) of the charity, and to contribute to Development work as part of a small, committed and supportive team.

This post-holder is important in acting as a first point of contact for the Director. As such, you will need to work efficiently under your own initiative and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and partners, including significant figures in the worlds of music and the church. You will be able to work with attention to detail, and be a good completer-finisher.

The post is advertised as 0.8FTE but we are open to exploring other working patterns with appropriate candidates, including adding additional administration elements to the role. Some weekly presence in our Salisbury office is a requirement of the role.

Main duties and resposibilities include, but are not limited to;

- 1st point of contact for the Director and liaison with staff and trustees

- diary and email management

- booking travel

- managing expenses of the director

- administrative support for the work of the Council of Trustees and its committees

- administration of the RSCM Honorary Awards process

- work to support the development department

28 hours per week, working across 5 days of the working week.
