Our client a forward thinking, established accountancy practice is seeking a Client Manager to join their growing team in Salisbury.

The position will involve you managing your own mixed portfolio of clients including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies, dealing with accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping and tax. You will build and maintain client relationships, as well as providing advice and understanding their business needs.

Key Duties:-

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, leading client meetings, and advising clients.
  • Manage all aspects of client relationship including, quoting, agreeing services, invoicing, payment method and annual engagement renewal
  • Assist in the production of Management and Annual Accounts, forecasts and performance reports
  • Build strong relationships with professional contacts, e.g. IFA's, solicitors and financial institutions to encourage referrals and access funding and support for clients
  • Mentor and supervise the team, providing feedback, training, and support to ensure accurate, efficient, and profitable service.
  • Report to the Directors on portfolio performance and internal targets set

You will ideally have at least 3 years' practice experience with a good accounts background, as well as holding a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA.

A good working knowledge of Sage, Xero and QuickBooks would also be desirable.
