An exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager has arisen within a dynamic and productive team working for a company in the Live Events and Entertainment industry. You'll be solo working on the company finances but in a supportive and welcoming environment, where employees are valued, personality is encouraged, and personal progression is facilitated.
This is a Finance Manager role with some additional admin duties - based on the outskirts of Salisbury. The job is a full-time office-based position, but a certain degree of flexibility can be considered.
Salary for this role is £35000 for full time hours Monday to Friday and casual work attire is encouraged.
As the Finance Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Document and monitor financial transaction details accurately.
- Prepare and file financial documents promptly.
- Raise purchase orders.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
- Collaborate with project managers on project P&Ls.
- Assist with asset and stock management.
- Reconcile company accounts regularly.
- Reconcile credit card transactions regularly.
- Process payroll.
- Assist company accountant with tax payments and returns.
- Manage services accounts and contracts, ensuring timely renewals and updates.
- Some additional administrative tasks as required by the business.
In this role as Finance Manager, you'll need a background and experience in a financial role, such as bookkeeping, accountancy, accounts administrator etc, as well as the following skills:
- Proficient in using Xero or equivalent accountancy software and comfortable with Microsoft Excel. Must be willing to train in Xero, if not already experienced.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
