Technology Transformation Lead
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire (Hybrid Working)
Salary: DOE (circa 60k - 70k) + Benefits Package

Deerfoot Recruitment is partnering with a dynamic Salisbury based organisation experiencing significant growth to recruit a Technology Transformation Lead. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive impactful change by optimising processes, modernising systems, and aligning technology with long-term strategic goals.

The organisation is at a pivotal crossroads in its digital journey. The company is navigating a growth phase and utilises various tech solutions / applications, but it seeks to streamline processes, enhance the customer journey, and establish a clear roadmap for future scalability over the next 3-5 years.

This role will report to both the CIO and change leaders, offering autonomy and a broad remit to initiate transformation groundwork. The successful candidate will play a critical role in conducting investigative business analysis, mapping processes, driving lean initiatives, and making recommendations for long-term technological improvements.

Candidate needs to be in commutable distance to Salisbury (HQ) to be in the office 2-3 days per week. Please not this is not a people management role, and would best suit a technologist looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and map current processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align technology strategy with business objectives.
  • Lead groundwork for transformation by conducting investigative business analysis and creating actionable recommendations.
  • Explore the feasibility of developing proprietary systems to consolidate existing PropTech tools.
  • Drive process optimisation to enhance the customer journey and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee pilot projects and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for new system approaches.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams within the wider group to leverage resources for platform development.
  • Ensure alignment of transformation initiatives with long-term growth plans (3-5 years).

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in system and process transformation within mid-sized organisations.
  • Strong understanding of data and process mapping, with a focus on lean methodologies.
  • Proven track record in implementing efficiency improvements through technology-driven solutions.
  • Technical acumen combined with strategic thinking - capable of both hands-on technical problem-solving and high-level planning.
  • A proactive individual eager to step up into a transformative role, bringing energy and drive to deliver impactful results.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams, including international stakeholders.
  • Background in PropTech is highly desirable but not essential.
