We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Locum Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to join our dedicated Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT) at Salisbury District Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to provide specialist dietetic care to paediatric patients and play a vital role in shaping high-quality nutritional support for infants, children, and adolescents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership in MDT Care:

    • Take a leading role in the MDT, delivering expert dietetic support to paediatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
    • Provide guidance and support to the wider clinical team to ensure the delivery of exceptional paediatric dietetic care.
  • Specialist Dietetic Assessment and Treatment:

    • Conduct specialist assessments, diagnoses, and treatments for paediatric patients with complex dietetic needs, including those within the Cystic Fibrosis, paediatric allergy, and Coeliac services.
    • Develop tailored nutritional care plans based on evidence-based practice and individual patient needs.
  • Support for CAMHs Eating Disorder Service:

    • Collaborate with Oxford Health to provide specialist dietetic services to the CAMHs team, contributing to the assessment and treatment of eating disorders in young people.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
  • Significant experience in paediatric dietetics, including managing complex cases.
  • Knowledge and experience in areas such as Cystic Fibrosis, paediatric allergy, Coeliac disease, and eating disorders.
