We're seeking a dedicated General Practitioner with Extended Role (GPwER) in Neurodevelopmental Disorders to support high-quality diagnostic assessments and medicines management for service users across Wiltshire (Community Based).
You'll work collaboratively within the (Learning Disabilities and Autism Network) LDAN community, alongside external partners, ensuring seamless, patient-focused care.
As an autonomous clinician, you'll oversee health assessments, contribute to care pathway development, and receive specialist supervision from the Lead Professional.

Location: Swindon (Community)
Rate: £92,279 (Pro Rata)
Type: Permanent (Part or Full-Time available)
Daily Schedule: AM (Clinic) PM (Admin)
Responsibilities:
Conduct face-to-face & virtual clinics assessing service users with neurodevelopmental conditionsManage ADHD medication clinics and provide ongoing support for service users requiring medical managementCollaborate with healthcare, social care & education providers to ensure holistic patient careAttend MDT meetings, peer reviews & training sessionsMaintain accurate clinical records (SystmOne) & ensure timely communication with patients and familiesAdhere to safeguarding policies and participate in clinical supervision
Requirements (Medical and Nursing):
- GMC Registration & Licence to Practice
- Postgraduate qualification (MRCPCH, DCH)
- Recognised Medical Degree
- IT proficiency (SystmOne, Microsoft Office)
- Mobile as this is community based
Desireable:
- Experience with children in care & knowledge of the Looked After Process
- Research or audit project involvement
