Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Full-Time

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join a supportive department at a well-regarded secondary school in Salisbury. This full-time position is available for maternity cover starting ASAP and will run until July 2025.

Job Description:
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5. You will help students develop a deep understanding of business concepts, encouraging them to think critically and develop skills that are essential in today's competitive world. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Teach across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, ensuring content is accessible and engaging for students at varying levels.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure continued improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Business Studies department to develop and enhance the curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to continue growing in the role.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Business Studies in a secondary school setting.
• A thorough understanding of the national curriculum and assessment criteria for Business Studies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• A passion for inspiring students and instilling a love of business and economics.
