About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Computer Science Teacher to join a Secondary school in Salisbury. This full-time role is available from September 2024 through to July 2025. The successful candidate will teach Computer Science across all key stages, with time allocated for planning and marking. The school is looking for an individual with excellent subject knowledge, effective classroom management, and a positive attitude toward teaching and building relationships with students. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain or further develop valuable skills in an innovative and supportive learning environment. The School will happily consider ECT's and experienced Teachers for Computer Science as well as overseas trained Computer Science teacher that come with experience teaching in the UK. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that motivates students to succeed.
  • Effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure high levels of student engagement.
  • Participate in lesson planning, preparation, and assessment of student work.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school's wider goals and initiatives.

  • Hold a current valid DBS or be willing to obtain one.
