Join our team as a Part Time HR Advisor at our Salisbury office to provide telephone and email advice and support to our diverse portfolio of clients on a range of HR and employment issues, delivering pragmatic, legally compliant HR support and a positive experience.

Your working hours as the Part Time HR Advisor are ideally 2 or 3 days per week Monday, Thursday & Friday but school hours 5 days per week would also be considered for the right candidate. Sal ary is £30,000 pro rata. 

Hybrid working arrangements considered on successful completion 3 months’ probation

As the Part Time HR Advisor your role will be to:

  • Provide accurate and detailed HR advice to clients in line with legislation and Company guidelines by telephone and email
  • Respond to client emails and calls
  • Write up all case notes accurately on the case management system.
  • Manage our ‘Breathe HR’ system for clients and ensure the system and records are kept up to date in line with service agreements
  • Deal with other incoming calls/emails in a timely manner and inform relevant people for action
  • Prepare employment documentation for new employees including contracts, handbooks, policies/procedures, offer letters, etc.
  • Handle HR administration tasks and internal duties for clients
  • Identify and follow up opportunities that arise to provide additional services to clients where it will be of benefit to them
  • Monitor developments in employment law and keep knowledge up to date
  • Attend seminars and other events as required

We’re ideally looking for candidates with a CIPD Level 3 or equivalent qualification - but proven HR experience managing ER cases and a broad HR knowledge is key!
