Reed Specialist Recruitment are proud to be representing a rapidly growing SSAS Pension Administration firm, who need a new SSAS Administrator to join their successful team. My client is about to open an office in central Bristol, so the role can be based here or out of their Salisbury office,
The big sell here is after probation the option of a 4-day week and still being paid Full time salary, now what isn't there to like about that!
The successful applicant will already have experience administering SSAS schemes and be comfortable handling a portfolio of clients.

Responsibilities:
Administration of client portfolio:
- Calculate and pay of Death, Retirement benefits.
- Process: Contributions and transfers into the scheme, full and partial transfers out and takeovers.
- Arrange buying/surrender of investment portfolios.
- Prepare scheme asset valuations and member fund share calculations.
- Monitor rent and loan repayments.
- Arrange loans to associated and unconnected parties.
- Carry out the required activity to establish a new scheme or take over the scheme
- Register schemes with the RegulatorsÂ
- Complete and submit Pension Scheme Returns, Event Reports and Accounting for Tax Returns.
- Prepare review packs for clients, trust deeds to reflect changes in scheme rules
Requirements:
- The job holder should have experience of SSAS administration/managing a portfolio of clients
- Works well under pressure and maintains attention to detail
- Ability to work to prescribed deadlines
- Clear, concise communication skills
- A positive attitude to client care
- A proactive, enthusiastic and driven approach
- The ability to maintain excellent working relationships both internally, and externally
