About Us:A highly reputable and well-established law firm are seeking a proactive Legal Administrator to join their expanding team in Salisbury.

Job Overview:As a Conveyancing Legal Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the conveyancing team, ensuring the smooth progression of residential and commercial property transactions. You will handle a range of administrative tasks, liaise with clients and third parties, and maintain accurate records.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience of working within a law firm previously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting conveyancers with the administrative aspects of property transactions, from instruction to completion.
  • Managing client files, ensuring all documentation is accurately prepared, filed, and up to date.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors to progress cases efficiently.
  • Drafting routine legal documents, including contracts and transfer deeds.
  • Conducting Land Registry searches and preparing SDLT submissions.
  • Maintaining internal databases and tracking key milestones in the conveyancing process.
  • Responding to client inquiries and providing updates on case progress.
  • Assisting with billing and invoice management.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal administration role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional manner.
  • Competent in using Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • Knowledge of conveyancing procedures and regulations (desirable).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
