What the role Involves:

  • Provide day-to-day support for manufacturing operations.
  • Work with manufacturing to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees.
  • Drive the development, evaluation, improvement, and documentation of manufacturing processes in support of new & existing products
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and breakthrough processes to accelerate competitive manufacturing advantage
  • Drive Continuous Improvement within the manufacturing process flows to ensure quality, delivery and cost goals are achieved in support of EC's Critical Success Factors.
  • Collaborate with engineering regarding product design & changes to ensure effective production methods.
  • Support and enable a best-in-class safety culture
  • Provide engineering support in the production department to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • Develop and implement process control techniques and procedures in manufacturing environments in order to deliver World Class Quality.
  • Perform time studies for accurate production times and costs and to provide data for operational decisions.
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for existing products and new products, and related fixtures and tooling that, are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.
  • Support company policies and procedures, goals, and objectives, as well as good manufacturing practices.
  • Be a champion for Health, Safety, & Environmental.
