A thriving UK-based manufacturing SME are seeking a Process Improvement Manager to be at the forefront of transforming their operations.You will receive a salary of up to £40,000 plus free parking and an early finish on a Friday. As the Process Improvement Manager you will:
  • Review existing processes to spot inefficiencies and standardise workflows across all our UK sites, reducing costs and boosting performance.
  • Align improvement initiatives with company goals, creating a roadmap for operational excellence.
  • From start to finish, ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and achieve measurable results.
  • Empower employees by conducting training sessions in continuous improvement techniques, ensuring everyone is on board with optimising our processes.
  • Ensure all process changes are fully documented, creating comprehensive process maps, workflows, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Track the success of your improvement initiatives, reporting on progress locally and across the business.
  • Work closely with managers and stakeholders to identify challenges and opportunities, ensuring smooth implementation of changes.
  • Promote a culture of excellence using Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, and Kaizen methodologies.
We are looking for a Process Improvement Manager with:
  • Degree-level qualification is desirable but not essential if you have solid experience.
  • A proven track record in process development and improvement projects, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, or similar qualifications are highly valued.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and leadership skills. You should also be comfortable managing multiple projects at once and confident in mentoring and training colleagues.
  • Ability to break down complex processes, identify root causes of inefficiencies, and propose sustainable solutions.
  • Skilled in managing cross-functional projects and ensuring delivery to deadlines.
  • Confident in communicating changes and driving a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organisation.
