Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at an esteemed educational institution in the Salisbury area. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive environment, assisting students with their daily needs and promoting their well-being and independence. The position is available to start immediately.

The school is based close to the Salisbury area for students aged from 4 to 16 years with around 100 students in total. The school prides itself on its high teaching standards as well as a friendly and enthusiastic team who collaborate on all aspects of teaching. The school place great value in their staff and offer loads of support to its team. The school site also has free parking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to students with various physical, emotional, and learning needs.
- Assist students with daily activities, including mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene.
- Support students in participating in educational activities and lessons.
- Ensure students’ safety and comfort at all times.
- Assist with the administration of medication (if trained).
- Collaborate with teaching staff and other care professionals to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate records and report any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care assistant or similar role (preferably within an educational or healthcare setting).
- A caring and patient approach to supporting students with special needs.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with students, staff, and parents.
- An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding practices.
- A commitment to promoting the well-being and independence of students.
- An enhanced DBS check will be required (we will assist with this process if necessary).
