Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist for their Adults Social Care service, within the Reablement Team for a temporary contract initially.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct person-centered occupational therapy assessments, planning and coordinating support to promote customer independence and achieve individual outcomes.
  • Record assessments and service plans accurately in the Social Care records database, meeting targets set by management.
  • Conduct timely reviews of occupational therapy and moving/handling plans to meet departmental targets, ensuring outcomes align with eligibility criteria.
  • Create individualised reablement plans to promote functional independence, focusing on regaining skills for daily living activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
