Year 4/5 Teacher - Salisbury Area

A school in the Salisbury area is looking for a full-time Year 4/5 teacher to join their team from January 2025 until the end of the academic year.

You’ll have a class of 22 pupils, with the opportunity to teach Year 4 maths independently. Plus, you'll have 1-2 teaching assistants by your side to support the SEND students, helping to create an inclusive learning environment.

This role gives you the chance to support the class for the rest of the year and make a real difference in their learning.

Role Overview:

• Role: Year 4/5 Class Teacher
• Location: Salisbury

• Contract: Temporary until July 2025
• Position Type: Full-time
• Salary: Paid to scale, based on experience and qualifications
   

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Possess a valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to undergo the process)
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (for overseas candidates, ENIC recognition and right to work are required)
• Be a reflective, empathetic, and engaging practitioner, passionate about making a real impact on pupils' lives
• Have high expectations for every pupil, with confidence in using effective classroom management strategies
• Build strong rapport with students, staff, and the wider school community
