Techniche Global are supporting a defence company to appoint a Payroll Administrator for a position in their finance department in Boscombe Down.  Salary: £29,500 pa plus benefits.Location: Boscombe Down Type: Hybrid 2 days at the office & 3 days working from home.Type:12 month fixed term contract, employed by company with potential for permanent You will support managing and delivering payroll for employees. In addition, you will be answering any payroll related queries from employees providing excellent customer service at all times. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  Day-to-day, you will:
  • Provide 1st line payroll support (via phone, email, and drop-in visits into the Helpdesk)
  • Administer the payroll for the four different payrolls
  • Process all payroll files in accordance with the payroll schedule and payroll cut-offs
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations, organisational policies, procedures and work instructions
  • Ensure compliance with all HMRC and payroll policies, procedures and work instructions
For this role previous Payroll experience is required. Working with Tax Codes, National Insurance, Sick pay, familiarity with payroll software etc. As well as confident knowledge working with Microsoft Excel (V Lookups, pivot tables etc). Communication is also key, being able to provide clear communications with staff members and payroll recipients.
