Job Description:

Trident Healthacre are seeking a dedicated and knowledge of the Aria prescribing system experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our clients team in Salisbury. This full-time position involves working across both wards and the dispensary, providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that clinical screening keeps up with best clinical practice
    • Ensure that there is adequate cover of clinical screening
    • Manage and develop both the Senior Cancer Clinical Pharmacist and the Oncology Specialist Pharmacist
    • To conduct and manage audit projects concerned with the provision of clinical pharmacy to the cancer services
    • Managing and supervising the dispensary team.
    • Collaborating with medical and nursing staff to optimize patient care.
    • Participating in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Previous experience in a clinical oncology setting setting, preferably within a hospital.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of the Aria prescribing system
